Hi, I’m Carina Mendyka, the founder of Carina’s Designs and a passionate designer (ARIDO intern, IDC) with over 17 years of experience in residential, corporate, and high-rise design.
 

My journey in design began as a child, arranging and crafting furniture for my Barbie’s house. That spark of creativity never faded, even during my years in a government job that didn’t ignite my true passion. Eventually, I listened to my heart, returned to school as a mature student, and transitioned into a career where I could channel my love for designing beautiful, functional, and meaningful spaces.
 

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in an architectural and interior design firm, taking on large-scale corporate projects, and spending over a decade in facilities management for a global healthcare company. I now also design in a municipal role, gaining valuable experience in public space design.
 

The launch of Carina’s Designs has allowed me to work directly with clients, helping them bring their visions to life while guiding them through every step of the process. I’m deeply committed to sustainability and wellness, and I hold a Certificate in Healthy Materials, which I integrate into every project to create healthier environments for both people and the planet.
